The beautiful new French doors in this
         Carmel Valley home needed a simple
            but elegant treatment that would
      gently filter the intense sun during the
          day, but also darken the room from
                           the early morning light.

        The solution was simple linen sheers,
             that could be drawn for day time
     privacy and filter the damaging UV rays
            that had faded the original carpet. 

     The room-darkening drapes were made
        with a soft black-out liner, and when
        closed, create a dark and cozy room
      perfect for sleeping late on those lazy
                               week-end mornings.
